In class this week, I learned about the rules of composition and how they can be incorporated to make your photos better. One thing I struggled with was just getting used to the manual camera settings, but I think I have a better grasp after taking these photos. My photographs are successful because they utilize the rule of simplicity by zooming in on the subject.

This week, I learned about taking portraits. Specifically, I learned about different lighting techniques that can be used in portraits. By utilizing these different techniques, I was able to create different moods in each photo.

This week, I learned how to create a double exposure portrait. I was able to take a somewhat boring picture and turn it into something very cool by putting another image over it. I also learned some new editing skills while creating this photo.
